Morgan 6 Announces New Board of Advisors
Inaugural Members Chris Burns and Jon Campbell Bring Specialized Military & Contracting Expertise to M6
Morgan 6 (M6) has launched a new company Board of Advisors. Inaugural members will include Brig. Gen. Chris Burns, U.S. Army, Retired, and COL Jon Campbell, U.S. Army, Retired. Burns and Campbell each bring extensive leadership experience, exceptional knowledge of the DoD contracting process, and wisdom to the M6 Warrior team. They’ll be advising the company on corporate leadership strategy, customer insights, and trends in the industry.

About Brig. General Chris Burns, U.S. Army, Retired
With 36 years of Army service that culminated in his position as the Commander of Special Operations Command North, Chris brings a wide breadth of industry knowledge and experience to the M6 team. He also provides leadership coaching to executives, management teams, organizational partners, and staff. Chris has served as a trusted advisor and confidant to business executives and management teams.
Commissioned in 1987, Chris began his service in the Rhode Island Army National Guard, where he qualified as an Army Special Operations Forces Officer. He then served successfully in many assignments within the Special Operations Forces, including at the operational detachment, company, battalion, and brigade levels. He also worked in theater special operations commands, and in the Joint Special Operations Task Force, the US Special Operations Command, and the Joint Staff.
Chris holds an M.A. in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, an M.B.A. from Western Connecticut University, and a B.A. in Economics/Political from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the National Guard Association of the United States, the Special Forces Association, the Association of the United States Army, and the Army National Guard Bureau.
About COL Jon Campbell, U.S. Army, Retired
Jon had a distinguished nearly three-decade long military career that culminated in a post at The Army Capabilities Integration Center as the Chief of Accelerated Capabilities Division. There, he focused on understanding current and future Army requirements and transitioning promising capabilities into the Army while accelerating capabilities to the Warfighter in combat. He is level III (highest) certified under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act, qualified in both contracting and program management.
While in the Army, Jon served as an Infantry Branch and Acquisition Corps officer in regular, airborne, acquisition, and Special Operation Units, and as a contracting specialist, contracting officer, chief of a contracting office and a product manager within the Army’s Acquisition Corp. In his post-military career, Jon serves on multiple boards and as president and CEO of a consulting firm that specializes in International Business Development. He is a Subject Matter Expert in both rapid acquisition and the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System process. In his consulting capacity, he has assisted many private companies in both opportunity capture and understanding the DoD Acquisition Process from requirements generation to contract award and delivery.
Jon was commissioned as a Distinguished Military Graduate from The Citadel, and he holds an MBA from Clemson University.
